Rule

If VinylStack documents conflict, the following order applies unless the Accepted Agreement expressly establishes a different order for itself:

  1. Accepted Agreement — the exact immutable agreement accepted by the relevant party.
  2. Schedules attached to that Agreement — including a Release-specific Schedule or Rights Declaration.
  3. Version-pinned incorporated policies — only where the Agreement identifies the exact Document ID and version and states that the policy forms part of the Agreement.
  4. Version-pinned Legal Glossary — only the exact version incorporated by the Agreement.
  5. Product Principles — non-contractual design philosophy.
  6. Operational documentation — implementation and process instructions that cannot create or redefine legal rights.

Interpretation

  • A higher-ranking document prevails only for the conflict; lower-ranking material may still explain matters not addressed above it.
  • An Agreement may state that a particular Schedule provision prevails for a specified subject. That exception must be explicit.
  • A URL, filename or Document ID without an exact version does not dynamically incorporate later wording into an existing Agreement.
  • Updating the Glossary, Product Principles, a policy or operational document never changes an Accepted Agreement retrospectively.
  • A summary, Handbook entry, app label or website explanation never replaces the exact accepted artifact.

Version consequence

If any byte of a published document requiring acceptance changes, VinylStack must issue a new version and Document Digest and obtain fresh acceptance. No editorial or typographical exception applies.

Evidence

VinylStack preserves the accepted Agreement, attached Schedules, incorporated document versions, Document Digests, acceptance record and publication record as one auditable contract package.
